I don’t think anyone would willingly join a “fraternity of the indifferent,” or put out the effort to do so for that matter. Otherwise: point well taken, Dr. King.

The point is absolutely well taken. But I don’t see why it’s any more pivotal to stay awake today than at any other point in history. What our historically kickass 2+ centuries of nation building/the triumph of Western Civilization if you want has bought us is more time to sit on our asses bickering before the tipping point passes us by. Our economy collapsed, we’re mired in two different foreign conflicts, our domestic government has slowed to a crawl. And yet all threats to our way of life are vague and distant. U-S-A!
