Discover just sent me an email with the subject line “regarding the recent disaster in your area.” There was no need to scare me like that, Discover. If you wanted to talk about Irene, I wish you had just said it outright, rather than leave me to panic, even for a few seconds, about what exactly my credit card-related disaster du jour might be.
